Short description

PhysTris is a physics-based puzzle/action innovative game, where your aim is to score as many points as possible, playing at game modes like Lines Out, Color lines and so on. The falling pieces are physically simulated, giving you completely new degree of experience in this genre.

Clicking causes the blocks to fall, and if there is a combination, they will disappear. All items above it then fall down. In this way, you can create combos and chains, scoring more points than normal.

There are several play modes, all with different rules:

  • In Mission mode your aim is to complete each mission in three mission packs: Easy, Medium and Hard.
  • In Lines Out mode, your aim is to make full horizontal lines. They will then disappear and all blocks above them will fall down.
  • In Color Lines mode, you must make horizontal or vertical lines in the same color, which will cause them to disappear.
  • In Color Areas mode you should place figures in same color next to each other to make same-color zones that are as large as possible to make the zones disappear.

The fundamentals of physics-based gameplay, will, however, do some nasty things. Figures will probably never be perfectly-aligned. You should find a way to bump and hit them with other figures. And if there are misaligned figures, don't panic. The detection algorithms are tolerant and will allow non-perfect combinations. The higher-up a figure is dropped from, the more strength it will gain, causing other figures to bounce when they are hit.

Items exist to make your game easier or harder. There are several types of different items that do various things.
